What are Limited Editions?
Limited Editions are copies of artworks produced in a restricted quantity, making them more exclusive and valuable compared to standard or mass-produced versions. Pippin’s editions will be created from images of her vibrant, energetic, contemporary abstract paintings.
All Archival Limited Editions are numbered. You’ll receive a signed Certificate of Authenticity from Pippin mailed directly to you. Additionally, a signed label with edition number will be affixed to the back of your edition.
What are Open Editions?
Open Editions typically are not numbered. However, yours will have a label affixed to the back sequentially numbered with “OE” followed by the number (e.g., OE1, OE2…) to indicate your print’s place in the Open Edition. You’ll also receive a Certificate of Authenticity signed by Pippin and mailed directly to you.
What does Acrylic Designer Series mean?
The Acrylic Designer Series is a premium presentation style that enhances the depth and vibrancy of your artwork. The process begins with an image of the archival limited edition you’ve purchased, which is printed on metallic paper to create a dynamic, luminous effect. This print is then face-mounted to a 1/8″ acrylic panel and backed with a 3/8″ black acrylic layer, effectively “sandwiching” the image between these two elements for a sleek, modern finish.
Unlike glass, where light simply passes through, acrylic refracts light, intensifying colors, resulting in a striking, high-definition appearance.
