Inspiration, An Inside Job by Aleta Pippin, oil, 2014, 30″ x 30″
Viewing my portfolio, you’ll notice that I have worked in with mediums and tried various techniques. I did not plan the images in advance—they emerged intuitively, shaped by life experience, a deep spiritual awareness, and an ever-growing understanding of materials. I followed my curiosity, and experimentation became essential to my creative process. New ideas continually appeared, some of which evolved into new bodies of work.
I believe painting to be a life journey as well as an inner journey. I chose abstraction because it offers freedom – the adventure of creating from imagination rather than replication. More recently, working digitally has allowed me to continue that creative exploration while embracing new tools and processes.

I love the opportunity to convey appreciation, joy, and energy through my images. My intention is to touch each viewer at the deepest level – that timeless place within us that doesn’t rely on shape or form but responds instinctively to color, passion, joy, and possibility.
