2018

2018 Look Back – I continued to enjoy the circle format. And, as always, color is the key element.

"New Beginnings III" painted by Aleta Pippin is an acrylic on panel with resin surface.

Pippin broke away from painting in acrylic and applying resin to the surface, in "Awash in Color" Pippin mixed color into the resin and applied to the panel. This technique provides a visually subtle effect.
