1993 – 2001

1993-2001 Look Back – While impressions from my early life would become key inspiration for my artistic career, I didn’t begin painting until 1992 after moving to Santa Fe from Houston. Influenced by Santa Fe’s creative culture, I began taking classes and experimenting with various media and painting styles until homing in on acrylic and oil. In 2003 after a hiatus, I fully committed to my third career – creating art. My passion for painting became realized when it blossomed into a full-time career. I improved my technique and found my voice – becoming a painter of colorful, energetic abstract paintings.
